PRSA-CNY Accreditation Chair Jamie Arnold, APR is selected to participate in on-camera training with Dr. Joe. Participants used what they learned from this program to identify what he did well and how they could help him to do even better.

Accreditation

Accredited in Public Relations (APR) is the only professional certification program open to public relations professionals. It is administered by the Universal Accreditation Board (UAB), a consortium of 10 leading industry organizations, including PRSA.

Any PRSA member in good standing can take on the challenge of earning Accreditation. However, it is recommended that candidates have at least five years’ experience in the full-time practice or teaching of public relations and who have earned either a bachelor’s degree in a communication-specific field, or have equivalent work experience.

To learn more about APR accreditation, including how to prepare for the exam and how to maintain your accreditation, visit the PRSA Universal Accreditation Board Web site and the PRSA Accreditation Information page.

For information about the PRSA-CNY’s accreditation activities, e-mail our Accreditation Chair.
