Northeast District Conference

Embracing Change: 50 Years in Public Relations

The Public Relations Department at Newhouse extends an invitation to all members of the Central New York Chapter of PRSA to attend this very special evening.

Bill Doescher G’61, president and CEO of The Doescher Group, will present “Embracing Change: 50 Years in Public Relations” as a guest of the public relations department at Syracuse University.  Follow the event on Twitter at #Doescher.

Train the Trainer

As part of the role of a PR professional, many of us coach or train spokespersons, executives and managers for media interviews, presentations, or testimony. This program will provide media training for you – the media trainer!

National speaker Dr. Joe Trahan, III, APR, Fellow PRSA will guide participants through the three elements of effective media training: preparation for the interview, conducting the interview, and interview evaluation. Participants will learn useful tools, techniques and insights for how to train senior leadership and subject matter experts. The three-hour classroom style program will also include impromptu one-on-one training throughout the program, so that participants can practice what they are learning.
