Presenters
Jamie Jacobs is one of the managing partners at Riger Marketing Communications, a firm based in Binghamton and serving clients throughout upstate New York and northeast Pennsylvania. She began her internship at Riger 20 years ago, moved up from account assistant to account executive to partner, and then took the role of managing partner in 2021. A Binghamton University English major alumna, Jamie is a copywriter and project manager at heart, serving clients from a variety of industries including financial services, nonprofit, healthcare, B2B and retail. She serves on the boards of both PRSA Finger Lakes Chapter and the United Way of Broome County.
Katlynn Whitaker (almost a Gen Z’er) is a Project Coordinator (and former intern) at Riger Marketing Communications in Binghamton. In this role, Katlynn works closely with account service teams and clients, building on her experience in graphic design and project management. Before joining the agency, she worked in web design and development. She graduated from Marywood University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and an Advertising minor. Katlynn is currently the Marketing/PR Chair of the United Way of Broome County’s Emerging Leaders Society.
