Registration for the 2024 PRSA Northeast District Conference will begin soon.

A limited number of hotel rooms at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown are available on a first come, first served basis for conference attendees for $189 per night (plus applicable taxes and fees). Reservations are only available for the evening of Nov. 14. To access this special rate, you must book through our conference link.


Call for presenters

Do you have an idea for a compelling presentation that relates back to the ways that PR is at a crossroads? We'd love for you to answer our call for presenters! We are seeking presenters and encourage interested practitioners to submit a proposal for a session that provides insights, shares best practices, helps your colleagues hone and develop new skills, and/or consider new strategies. The goal of PRxNE2024 is to deliver a program that features engaging speakers, inspiring breakout sessions, and opportunities for discussion and networking with your peers.

About the Conference

The Central New York Chapter of PRSA is honored to present PRxNE2024: PR at a Crossroads (Again), a one-day conference on Friday, November 15, designed for communications professionals at all stages in their careers and students in the PRSA Northeast District. The conference will take place in Syracuse, NY at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown. Join a group of 150+ communications professionals from seven states and eight chapters! The Northeast District boundaries extend west to Buffalo, east to Boston, and north to Bangor.

Our conference theme PR at a Crossroads (Again) reflects the ever-changing and ever-challenging environment in public relations. As part of this, presentations will explore the ways that public relations is at the intersection of social and political pressures, as well as the opportunities that come with the ever-evolving media landscape, new marketing trends, and artificial intelligence.
